Project Overview

A twelve-unit beachside apartment complex on the Gold Coast required a comprehensive exterior facelift after years of exposure to salt-laden coastal air had degraded the existing coating system. The scope encompassed all residential elevations, shared balcony parapets, stairwell soffits, boundary walls, and garage doors. We erected full scaffold systems to provide safe access to all levels, followed by high-pressure washing with salt-neutralising agents, concrete spalling repair, render patching, and application of a full etch-prime coat. The final coating system comprised two coats of a marine-grade semi-gloss enamel formulated specifically for coastal environments, providing salt resistance, UV stability, and a finish that maintains colour integrity under the most demanding exposure conditions on the Queensland coast.
